This is Namma for Christ with the two
hundred eighty-eighth inspirational message dated Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025. The
title of this message is “Whisper And The Wind – Eph. 3:13-19 – The Power of

The below passage of scripture (that accompanies this
message) is from the thirteenth through the nineteenth verses of the third chapter
of Ephesians – as written by the Apostle Paul:
Ephesians 3:13-19

13 I ask you, therefore, not to be
discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
14 For this reason I kneel before
the Father, 15 from
whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of His
glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit
in your inner being, 17 so
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you,
being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy
people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of
Christ, 19 and
to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the
measure of all the fullness of God.
The title of this
message includes the words – “The Power of Christ” –
which is the “title” of the late
Dr. Charles Stanley’s “In Touch” Daily Devotional for (April 26th, 2025) –
which I have included below (Dr. Charles Stanley passed away on 4/18/23).
Dr. Charles Stanley was the founder of the “In Touch” daily devotional. Those
who work on behalf of this daily devotional are continuing its publication - as
it ministers to readers around the world. I recently read the below message and
wanted to share this message in “Namma for Christ”.
The Power of
Christ
Ephesians 3:13-19
Paul frequently wrote
about the need to rely on Christ’s strength. He shared a promise the Lord had
given him: “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness”
(2nd
Cor. 12:9 – see the below verse). Paul was a great Christian leader, but in God’s eyes, he was
no more deserving of grace than any other person. We can have the same
confidence in the Lord’s power that the apostle had.

9 And He said to me, “My
grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore,
most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of
Christ may rest upon me.
When Paul received
Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he was adopted as God’s son. His sins were
forgiven and he received the Holy spirit (Acts 13:9), so he could begin his
work for the Lord’s service (Gal. 1:15).
Consider Paul’s jail
time. To help him endure imprisonment, the Holy Spirit provided physical and
mental stamina. And at the same time, He burdened the hearts of other believers
to provide for Paul’s needs (Phil. 4:18). Most importantly, God’s Spirit gave
him the courage to speak of Jesus Christ with his Roman guards (Phil. 1:13).
Paul relied upon God
for strength and consequently never gave up on his faith. We serve the same
all-powerful God, which means we have no excuse for running away from His plan,
either. His Spirit dwells in us and is ready to release power when we obey our
Father’s call.
