Seated At The Right Hand of God - Heb. 1:3

This is Namma for Christ with my 7th inspirational message for Friday, October 5th 2012, entitled:
"Seated At The Right Hand of God - Heb. 1:3". The Bible verse today comes from: Hebrews 1:3 - "Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high," Jesus loves us so much that He makes intercession for us to God. He is our Advocate. It is so wonderful and amazing that the same God who created the heavens and the earth (and the fullness thereof) "loves and cares" about us. 1st Peter 5:7 - states : "Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." 1st John 4:19 states: "We love Him because He first loved us". Not only does Jesus "care" about us.... HE IS ALSO ABLE TO SAVE TO THE UTTERMOST THOSE WHO COME TO GOD THROUGH HIM, SINCE HE ALWAYS LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR US - as found in Hebrews 7: 25. ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE: Romans 8:26 - 33 states: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Romans 8:34 states: "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." 1st John 4:4 states: "...He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." ALWAYS REMEMBER - YOU'VE GOT GOD ON YOUR SIDE - AS FOUND IN PSALMS 118:6 : "THE LORD IS ON MY SIDE ; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?"

"Redeemed - Eph. 1:7"

This is Namma for Christ with the 6th inspirational message sent on Thursday, October 4th, 2012 entitled, "Redeemed - Eph. 1:7". I am so thankful to God for EVERYTHING HE IS DOING, HAS DONE AND WILL DO. I am so thankful to you - for taking the time to read this. God is good all the time - all the time, God is good. Today's subject is - "REDEEMED" - which includes a powerful and inspirational video of Big Daddy Weave's song, "Redeemed". The bible verse comes from Ephesians 1:7 - "In Him (JESUS) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" "What is the meaning of Christian redemption?" Our natural condition was characterized by guilt. REMEMBER: “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). NO ONE IS PERFECT - ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD! ONLY JESUS WAS PERFECT- JESUS COMMITTED NO SIN. Christ’s redemption has freed us from guilt, being “justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24). The benefits of redemption include: 1. eternal life: (Revelation 5:9-10), 2. forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7): "In Him (JESUS) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" 3. righteousness: (Romans 5:17), 4. freedom from the law’s curse: (Galatians 3:13), 5. adoption into God’s family (Galatians 4:5), 6. deliverance from sin’s bondage (Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 1:14-18), 7. peace with God (Colossians 1:18-20), and the 8. indwelling of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20): "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are NOT your own? For you were "bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, WHICH ARE GOD'S." To be redeemed, then, is to be forgiven, holy, justified, free, adopted, and reconciled..... IF YOU HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR - you are FREE, FORGIVEN and REDEEMED... BECAUSE JESUS LIVES...WE LIVE...WE CAN FACE...NOT ONLY TOMORROW...BUT, TODAY! JESUS HAS FORGIVEN US...JESUS LOVES US....HE WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR LIVES! WE ARE SINNERS SAVED BY GRACE! THE LORD IS GOD

JESUS, THE LORD IS GOD This is Namma for Christ with my fifth inspirational message sent on Saturday, September 29th, 2012, entitled, "JESUS, THE LORD IS GOD". The scripture for today comes from Psalm 100:3 - Know ye that the Lord He "is" God: "it is" He "that" hath made us, and not we ourselves; "we are" His people, and the sheep of His pasture. As you give your "TOTAL SELF" to GOD, "GOD GIVES HIS TOTAL SELF TO YOU - THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT". In John 15: 4 & 5, Jesus says, "ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. AS THE BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT OF ITSELF, EXCEPT IT ABIDE IN THE VINE; NO MORE CAN YE, EXCEPT YE ABIDE IN ME." GOD IS WITH US...MATTHEW 28:20 STATES WHAT JESUS SAID, "...LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD." JESUS' VERY NAME, "EMMANUEL" MEANS "GOD WITH US!" (MATTHEW 1:23) Therefore, no matter what you're going through... no matter how big the problem is...no matter how much you think you messed everything up.... GOD IS WITH YOU. ROMANS 10: 9, 10 & 11 STATE: "IF YOU SHALL CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND SHALL BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALL BE SAVED. FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVES UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION. FOR THE SCRIPTURE SAYS, WHOSOEVER BELIEVES ON "HIM" SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED." JESUS' WIDE, LOVING, EVERLASTING ARMS ARE REACHING OUT TO YOU... THEY ARE THE SAME WIDE, LOVING, EVERLASTING ARMS THAT WERE STRETCHED OUT ON CALVARY'S CROSS TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS. PLEASE LEAN ON "HIS EVERLASTING ARMS"...HE IS ABLE TO CARRY ALL OUR SINS, MISTAKES, OUR FAILURES, OUR SELF-CRITICISM, OUR CONDEMNATION, OUR WORRIES, OUR FEARS, OUR PAST, OUR ADDICTIONS, OUR PROBLEMS..."WHATEVER" IS HOLDING YOU DOWN.... "OR" HAS YOU IN A STRONGHOLD OR BONDAGE....GIVE IT TO JESUS TO HELP YOU! CRY OUT TO HIM - HE LOVES YOU! NEVER FORGET THAT JESUS LOVES YOU FOR "YOU"! HE LOVES YOU BECAUSE HE MADE YOU - PSALM 100:3 states: Know ye that the Lord He "is" God: "it is" He "that" hath made us, and not we ourselves; "we are" His people, and the sheep of His pasture. ALSO, REMEMBER 1ST PETER 5:7 STATES, "CAST ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU." JESUS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO HELP YOU - BECAUSE...JESUS, THE LORD IS GOD! Jesus came to earth to "lovingly die" - (to "sacrifice" His "Godly, sinless, perfect" Life) for US... Jesus - who had no sin...died on Calvary's cross for OUR sins. Jesus defeated the enemy, Satan, by conquering sin and death by HIS death and resurrection. Because HE LIVES...WE CAN LIVE.

Let us as believers - live our UTMOST for HIS HIGHEST!

FORGIVENESS

This is Namma for Christ sharing with you my fourth inspirational message. This is being sent on 9/26/2012 - the subject and the title are the same: FORGIVENESS. The scripture is coming from: Mark 11:25 - "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses." Recently, at my church, the associate minister did a great job giving a sermon on Joseph, his brothers and "forgiveness". This minister showed how Joseph forgave His brothers for their mistreatment of him and how Jesus forgives us for our sins. We, as Christians try to live the best that we can - but all have sinned. We are all sinners saved by God's Grace. As Romans 3:23 reminds us - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." In Genesis 37:24, Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and they cast him into a pit. Soon after, as found in Genesis 37:28, his brothers drew him out of the pit and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver, who then took him to Egypt. As the bible story continues, Joseph rises in position to eventually be second in command over Egypt, right under Pharaoh. In Genesis 41:40, Pharaoh tells Joseph, "You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you." In verse Genesis 41:56, it states what happened after Joseph had wisely prepared and stored away food for the upcoming famine- "There was a famine over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians". The same brothers of Joseph who had put him into a pit, now had to bow before him for their very survival during the famine. But, how did Joseph react when his brothers were repentant and thought Joseph would take revenge on their wrongdoing? Joseph forgave. Joseph said in Genesis 45:5 - "And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you". Joseph also said in Genesis 50:20 - "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive". In summary, man meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.... What does Jesus do when we come fearful and sorry for our wrongdoings...what does He do when we confess our sins? Jesus forgives...and He never stops loving us...Hebrews 13:5 says "I will never leave nor forsake thee." "Forgiveness" is surrendering "our right" to "hurt you" for "hurting me"....if Jesus can forgive "us"....how can we "not" forgive others for hurting us? 1st Peter 5:7 states : WE MUST CAST ALL OUR CARE ON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR US. God's "Amazing Grace"

This is Namma for Christ with my third inspirational message to you (typed 9/24/2012 around 4pm ) entitled God's "Amazing Grace", ENJOY AND BE BLESSED!

God has blessed us all with HIS AMAZING GRACE. Please read Ephesians 2nd chapter- when you can. I'd like to share with you a key verse for today that ties everything together: the below song by Todd Agnew "Grace Like Rain" (with lyrics), the words in this blog (including a story about John Newton - the original author of the famous hymn: "Amazing Grace"), and the title for today's message: GOD'S AMAZING GRACE. The key bible verse is: Ephesians 2:8 - "For by GRACE you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God"

 Believe in the Lord and please pray to the Lord for Him to show you your purpose. Not only is "grace" ... a gift from God - but our very LIFE is a gift from God, also! I used to have this plaque that read: "Our life is God's gift to 'us' - what we do with our life - is our gift to 'Him'." God knows you (better than anyone) because He made you...the Lord Jesus knows what is best for you - pray to Him for your purpose in life and "whatever" you need...now a little history about John Newton:

John Newton, (the original author of "Amazing Grace") lived from 1725 - 1807. He was a London slave trader when God saved him. In 1748, while on a homeward voyage, while attempting to steer his ship through a violent storm, he experienced what he was to refer later as his "great deliverance". WHEN ALL SEEMED LOST AND THE SHIP WAS ABOUT TO SINK, HE CRIED OUT: "Lord, have mercy upon us".

 He later stopped being a slave trader and lived the rest of his life for the Lord! He wrote the original version of "Amazing Grace" - the first 6 stanzas (wrote in 1779). The 7th stanza's author is anonymous. I've included the 1st and the 7th stanzas below:
The original tune was said to have come from the African slaves that he once enslaved.

I ALWAYS PRAY BEFORE I WRITE SO THAT I WILL WRITE WHAT GOD HAS INSPIRED ME TO WRITE....THIS IS ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD WHO SO RICHLY BLESSES  US WITH HIS LOVE, MERCY AND GRACE. WE ARE "GOD'S PROPERTY"...HE MADE US  ("FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS UNTO GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD HATH BEFORE ORDAINED THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM." - EPHESIANS 2:10)  AND HE LOVED US FIRST (1ST JOHN 4:19). ANY NEGATIVITY THAT COMES YOUR WAY...REMEMBER TELL satan : "GET THEE BEHIND, satan! JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 28:18 - " ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH."  THE LORD IS ON "YOUR" SIDE.  REMEMBER....PHILIPPIANS 4:13 STATES: "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME."

NEVER FORGET THAT "JESUS IS IN CONTROL" - NO PROBLEM IS TOO BIG FOR THE LORD TO HANDLE.
