This is Namma for Christ with the seventy-second inspirational message dated Friday, October 16th, 2015. The title of this message is: "The Words I Would Say- Matt. 5:14-16". This message is based on the belowscripturetextfrom the fifth chapter of Matthew as found in the New Testament - where Jesus informs us to "LET OUR LIGHTS SHINE!" -
Matthew 5:14-16
King James Version (KJV)
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
The above passage is part of our Lord's "Sermon On the Mount" as found in the fifth chapter of Matthew. Jesus is telling us to "LET OUR LIGHTS SHINE!" He is telling us to be "THE VERY BEST" that we can be! Jesus wants us to : "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) Our purpose is to GLORIFY GOD! Are we glorifying God by our actions? Are we glorifying God in our daily lives? Only "we" ourselves, can answer these questions. Jesus is telling us to "LET OUR LIGHTS SHINE - BEFORE OTHERS"! BLOOM - WHERE WE ARE PLANTED! Let us live for JESUS and use whatever gifts, talents, abilities and resources HE gave us to GLORIFY HIM! LET US LIVE TO PLEASE - THE ONE WHO "DIED AND LIVES IN US" through HIS HOLY SPIRIT! Let us be the VERY BEST that we can be... for JESUS! LET US - LET OUR LIGHTS SHINE!
Please listen and ENJOY the inspiring (as well as ENCOURAGING) lyrics of the accompanied song and video (with lyrics), "The Words I Would Say" as sung with anointing by the Christian artists, "Sidewalk Prophets".
This is Namma for Christ with the seventy-first inspirational message dated Saturday, September 5th, 2015. The title of this message is: "SHOULDERS - Jehovah-jireh: He Provides - Gen. 22:14". This message is based on the belowscripturetextfrom the 22nd chapter of Genesis as found in the Old Testament - where the writer informs the reader that "JEHOVAH-jireh" means, "THE LORD WILL PROVIDE" -
Genesis 22:14
American Standard Version (ASV)
14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh. As it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.
According
to the Book of Genesis in the Bible, Jehovah-jireh (or Yahweh-yireh,
YHWH will provide), refers to the place in the land of Moriah.
It was the location of the binding of Isaac, where God told Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering. "Jehovah-jireh" is the name memorialized by Abraham when God provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac.
"JEHOVAH-jireh" or "THE LORD WILL PROVIDE " is a name to describe one of the many-faceted characteristics of God. To truly appreciate the meaning of this scripture verse (Gen. 22:14) - I provided the following verses - please read Genesis 22: 1-14 below:
Genesis 22
American Standard Version (ASV)
22 And it came to pass after these things, that God did prove Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham. And he said, Here am I.
2 And He said, Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah. And offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3 And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. And he clave the wood for the burnt-offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4 On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass, and I and the lad will go yonder; and we will worship, and come again to you.
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt-offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. And they went both of them together.
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood. But where is the lamb for a burnt-offering?
8 And Abraham said, God will provide Himself the lamb for a burnt-offering, my son. So they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of Jehovah called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham. And he said, Here I am.
12 And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him. For now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from Me.
13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son.
14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh. As it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.

I look up to the mountains Does my strength come from the mountains? No, my strength comes from God Who made heaven and earth, and the mountains
When confusion's my companion And despair holds me for ransom I will feel no fear I know that You are near
When I'm caught deep in the valley With chaos for my company I'll find my comfort here 'Cause I know that You are near
My help comes from You You're right here, pulling me through You carry my weakness, my sickness, my brokenness All on Your shoulders Your shoulders
My help comes from You You are my rest, my rescue I don't have to see to believe that You're lifting me up on Your shoulders Your shoulders
You mend what once was shattered And You turn my tears to laughter Your forgiveness is my fortress Oh, Your mercy is relentless
My help comes from You You're right here, pulling me through You carry my weakness, my sickness, my brokenness All on Your shoulders Your shoulders
My help comes from You You are my rest, my rescue I don't have to see to believe that You're lifting me up on Your shoulders Your shoulders
My help is from You Don't have to see it to believe it My help is from You Don't have to see it, 'cause I know, 'cause I know it's true
My help is from You Don't have to see it to believe it My help is from You Don't have to see it, 'cause I know, 'cause I know it's true
My help is from You Don't have to see it to believe it My help is from You Don't have to see it, 'cause I know, 'cause I know it's true
My help is from You Don't have to see it to believe it My help is from You Don't have to see it, 'cause I know, 'cause I know it's true
This is Namma for Christ with the seventieth inspirational message dated Friday, August 14th, 2015. The title of this message is: "GROW - Hebrews 12:11 - From PAIN to PRAISE!". This message is based on the below scripture text from the 12th chapter of Hebrews as found in the New Testament (NIV) - where the writer, informs the reader of the benefits of "God's discipline"-
Hebrews 12:11New International Version (NIV)
11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
In order to fully receive the "power and impact" of the above scripture, I must include with it - the "preceding verses" - which are Hebrews 12:6-10. Please read below:
Hebrews 12:6-10New International Version (NIV)
6 because the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son.”[a]
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?8 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of Spirits and live!10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in His holiness.
GOD LOVES YOU!
ALWAYS...REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE "HIS" CHILD! HE MADE YOU AND WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!
THIS PASSAGE REMINDS US THAT GOD SOMETIMES "DISCIPLINES" US FOR "OUR GOOD"...
Because GOD, OUR FATHER "wants" what is BEST for US...sometimes what God wants to GIVE US may NOT be "packaged" in the WAY that "WE" think it should be....
This is where "WE - as God's children"...have to TRUST GOD'S HEART...when we can't understand HIS HAND. Remember what our Lord said in Isaiah 55:8-9 - please read below:
Isaiah 55:8-9King James Version (KJV)
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Once again - please read Hebrews 12: 6 & 7 -
Hebrews 12:6-7New International Version (NIV)
6 because the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son.”[a]
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?
The below scriptures state that GOD DISCIPLINES US "BECAUSE HE LOVES US" and it is FOR "OUR GOOD"...
If we can endure..."God's discipline" can:
- allow us to share in His holiness
- it will produce a harvest of "righteousness"
- it will give us peace
- it will increase our faith and our "daily" TRUST in HIS WAYS (because we will be "trained" by it)
Hebrews 12:10b-11New International Version (NIV)
10 ....but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in His holiness.11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Therefore, let us "LEARN" from the experiences and the challenges that we go through. Let us remember that GOD is developing us and shaping us to be "who" He wants us to be. Let us surrender to "His process" as we strive to be God's AMBASSADORS in Christ Jesus!
LET US GROW FROM THE PAIN...and remember to PRAISE JESUS who will ALWAYS BE WITH US!
Let us FULLY DEPEND on JESUS and BE GUIDED BY OUR LORD because...Hebrews 13:5 states what our Lord says: "I will never leave you, nor forsake you".
Hebrews 13:5
King James Version (KJV)
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
and please remember what Romans 8:28 promises:
Romans 8:28King James Version (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
Please be encouraged and please listen for some of these powerful lyrics in the accompanying video/song, "GROW":
"You broke me down, to build me up"
"I'm NEVER letting go....This pain...is just to make me GROW!"
"You allowed the storm...but You'll NEVER leave me there."
"JESUS, you're MY CHAMPION...Look what YOU'VE endured!"
BE BLESSED!
(I do not own the rights of the song.)
