2013 IS A NEW YEAR AND A NEW BEGINNING!

God has given us another chance...old things are passed away...behold...all things are become new!

LET GO OF THE PAST AND LET GOD DIRECT YOUR EVERY THOUGHT AND STEP!

I used to be a prisoner of my past...all I did was focus on the past...I had focused so much on my past...that it caused me to not move forward. I kept focusing on my past "mistakes"...I kept trying to figure out "why" I did this...and "why" I did that. This was all negativity from the devil...the devil wanted me to be paralyzed in doubt, fear, anxiety, sadness and depression. The devil thought he had me...he thought he won...BUT...GOD WAS NOT FINISHED WITH ME!

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF...IN A STRONGHOLD OF NEGATIVITY....REMEMBER GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOU, YET...

LOOK TO GOD...PRAY..SEEK JESUS, YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR, AND...RE-FOCUS ON JESUS AND HIS SUFFICIENCY...DO NOT FOCUS ON YOUR PROBLEMS...DO NOT DWELL ON YOUR PAST....DO NOT FOCUS ON YOUR PAST MISTAKES....REMEMBER WHAT GOD SAYS  IN ISAIAH 55: 8-9 :

 JESUS REVIVED ME AND REMINDED ME OF THE LOVE, MERCY, GRACE , FORGIVENESS, AND AWESOME INDESCRIBABLE POWER OF GOD! I NEEDED TO BE REMINDED THAT THE DEVIL WAS ALREADY DEFEATED  BY JESUS' DEATH AND RESURRECTION. I WAS NOT ALONE ...I HAD THE RISEN SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST ON MY SIDE! I HAD TO FOCUS ON JESUS...NOT ON MY PROBLEMS OR MY PAST.

 I DIDN'T HAVE TO LIVE IN FEAR, ANXIETY, SADNESS OR DEPRESSION. I WAS NOT REQUIRED TO "TRY TO UNDERSTAND" MY PAST - I JUST HAD TO BELIEVE, TRUST AND HAVE FAITH IN JESUS!

I HAD TO LET GO OF THE PAST AND PRAY ...I HAD TO ASK JESUS TO DIRECT MY EVERY THOUGHT AND MY EVERY STEP!

The devil does not want what is best for us. He wants us to keep looking backward so that we don't move "forward"...We cannot and should not get consumed with the past. REMEMBER WHAT JOHN 10:10 STATES: JESUS WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR US - TO HAVE LIFE, AND TO HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY....THE DEVIL WANTS NEGATIVITY AND EVIL FOR US:

Remember - ANYTIME negativity comes in your MIND and thoughts..tell the devil - GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN! (AS JESUS TOLD THE DEVIL WHEN WE WAS TEMPTED IN LUKE 4:8). REPLACE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE THOUGHTS..REPLACE NEGATIVE ACTIONS WITH POSITIVE ACTIONS...ASK JESUS TO HELP YOU!
