Hosanna! Praise the Lord JESUS! Psalm 145:1-3

This is Namma for Christ with the thirty-second inspirational message dated Friday, May 24, 2013. The title of this message is, "HOSANNA! PRAISE THE LORD JESUS!  PSALM 145: 1-3". The scripture for this message comes from PSALM 145: 1-3  (as found below):

Psalm 145: 1-3

King James Version (KJV)

1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

THIS MESSAGE IS ALL ABOUT "PRAISE"!

LET US PRAISE OUR GOD, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! HE IS LORD OF ALL! THE FIRST VERSE IN OUR SCRIPTURE FROM PSALM 145 STATES:

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

"EXTOL" means to "PRAISE HIGHLY"...and this is what we should do as Christians- GIVE PRAISE TO OUR GOD- WITH THE HIGHEST PRAISE! IN LIGHT OF "ALL" THAT GOD HAS DONE FOR "US" - WE SHOULD CONTINUALLY THANK AND PRAISE HIM!  BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE, GRACE AND MERCY FOR US...LET US GIVE OUR LORD THE HIGHEST PRAISE!

Verse 2 ENCOURAGES US TO PRAISE THE LORD'S NAME EVERY DAY THAT WE LIVE.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

AS CHRISTIANS,  WE CAN ALSO  LOOK FORWARD TO PRAISING HIS NAME FOR "ALL ETERNITY IN HEAVEN" - FOR EVER AND EVER!

IT IS GOOD TO REMEMBER THAT EXPRESSING "GRATITUDE AND WORSHIP" DAILY TO THE LORD CAN KEEP US FROM BECOMING OVERWHELMED BY LIFE'S DIFFICULTIES  AND LANGUISHING IN DEPRESSED AND NEGATIVE ATTITUDES. GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO US...WE HAVE SO MUCH TO THANK AND PRAISE HIM FOR! GOD CAN DO ALL THINGS, BUT FAIL!

EVERYDAY,  WE SHOULD BE  THANKING AND PRAISING THE LORD!

JESUS - WHO IS "OUR REDEEMER" -  WHO MADE OUR SALVATION POSSIBLE - "HE"  IS "OUR INTERCESSOR - OUR MEDIATOR" WHO PROVIDES "OUR BLESSINGS"  AND OUTSHINES EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING IN OUR LIVES! WHEN WE  FOCUS ON JESUS - HE HELPS US TO PUT OUR DIFFICULTIES IN PERSPECTIVE. JESUS IS THERE TO HELP US WITH OUR PROBLEMS, DIFFICULTIES OR CHALLENGES...FOR 1ST PETER 5:7 STATES:

"CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM; FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU."

Last, but not least...verse 3 states:

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Let us all remember how GREAT OUR LORD IS AND HOW "HE IS GREATLY TO BE PRAISED - HIS GREATNESS IS UNSEARCHABLE!"

"JESUS, LORD, REMEMBER ME..." - Luke 23:42

This is Namma for Christ with the thirty-first inspirational message dated Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

The title of this message is, "JESUS, LORD, REMEMBER ME..." -  Luke 23:42". The scripture

for this message comes from Luke 23: 42  (as found below):

Luke 23: 42

King James Version (KJV)
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

Below is the background scripture Luke 23: 32-41 leading up to the main verse - Luke 23:42:

Luke 23: 32-41

King James Version (KJV)

32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,
37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.
39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

BELOW  IS  THE SCRIPTURE LUKE 23:43  which is....

JESUS' RESPONSE TO THE THIEF ON THE CROSS - (after the thief said, "LORD REMEMBER ME WHEN THOU COMEST INTO THY KINGDOM"):

Luke 23:43

King James Version (KJV)
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

This message describes Jesus' great love for those who confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in HIM. "This thief "  who said, "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom"...experienced salvation before he died. Jesus told him, "Verily (or truthfully) I say unto thee, TODAY SHALT THOU BE WITH ME IN PARADISE."

IF WE HAVEN'T ALREADY - LET US BELIEVE IN JESUS AND LIVE FOR JESUS -TODAY!
HE WILL SAVE YOU! HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS TO BE YOUR SAVIOR!

Below I included the lyrics of, the great hymn "He Will Remember Me", written by E.M. Bartlett (1885-1941). These lyrics described (as the above scripture displays) how "one" (of the two thieves) that were crucified with Jesus BELIEVED IN JESUS AS HIS LORD AND SAVIOR...."before" he died. This song also reminds "us" as Christian  believers in JESUS (as "our" Lord and Savior) that when we "have crossed death's chilly sea....and when we reach the pearly gates... He will remember us, too!"

He Will Remember Me (lyrics)
 written by E.M. Bartlett   (1885-1941)

When on the cross of Calvary, the Lord was crucified;
the mob stood 'round Him and mocked until He died.
Two thieves were nailed beside Him to share the agony,
but one of them cried out to Him, O Lord remember me.

REFRAIN:
Will the Lord remember me when I am called to go?
When I have crossed death's chilly sea, will He His love there show?
O yes, He heard my feeble cries, from bondage set me free,
and when I reach the pearly gates, He will remember me.

O, what a shame to kill Him there on that rugged cross;
but such a death was needed to rescue all the lost.
His blood made a ransom to set the captives free,
I know that I'm included and He will remember me.

At His dear feet I'm kneeling, my sins I now confess;
I bow in deep repentance, my soul He'll surely bless.
My blinded eyes He opens so that the light I see,
and when I reach the pearly gates, He will remember me.
