The first four words of this message’s title are also the words of the title of the below anointed song/video, “How Good God Is” (with lyrics)” as performed by “Brandon Lake”.

The below passage of scripture (that accompanies this message) is from the twenty-third and the twenty-fourth verses of the fifth chapter of 1st Thessalonians.

1^st Thessalonians 5:23-24

New King James Version - (NKJV)

The title of this message includes the words – “The Keys to Success” – which is the “title” of the late Dr. Charles Stanley’s “In Touch” Daily Devotional for (June 21^st, 2026) – which I have included below (Dr. Charles Stanley passed away on 4/18/23). Dr. Charles Stanley was the founder of the “In Touch” daily devotional. Those who work on behalf of this daily devotional are continuing its publication - as it ministers to readers around the world. I recently read the below message and wanted to share this message in “Namma for Christ”.

  The Keys to Success

  1^st Thessalonians 5:23-24

Have you ever felt discouraged about trying to live the Christian life? If your efforts to make a difference in the world seem fruitless, following the Lord’s example can change your outlook.

Christ served others in love, and His actions had a tremendous impact on the world. How was He so effective? Scripture tells us that Jesus did not speak or act on His own initiative but instead depended upon His Father’s indwelling presence to do the work (John 14:10 – see below verse). As His children, we are to do likewise.

John 14:10

New King James Version - (NKJV)

¹⁰Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

True service is commissioned, empowered, and blessed by God alone. It may be our hands that are laboring, but our Father is the One at work. And the glory belongs to Him.

What a comfort this is! The Lord is not looking only for people who are extremely talented or influential. He will use all who are willing to let His Spirit work through them. And we can be confident that He will provide everything we need in order to do whatever He asks.

Who among us can serve the living God? Truthfully, none of us can, in our own power. Genuine service occurs only when we allow the Almighty to pour Himself out through us; we are mere vessels. Even if the impact is not obvious, we can trust that God always achieves His purpose.

I pray that you have enjoyed the above message and I pray that you will enjoy the accompanied song.
